VENUE
The 6th Commission Meeting (COMM6) will be held from 30 January to 3 February 2018, in Lima, Peru. It will be preceded by the 5th meeting of the Compliance and Technical Committee from 26 to 28 January.
Both meetings will be held at the JW Marriott Hotel Lima.

REGISTRATION
Participants should register for the meeting in advance using the Registration Form.
LANGUAGE
All meetings will be conducted in English. A two-way Spanish-English interpretation service will be provided by the host.

Accommodation options for Lima are available in the General Information for Participants. Delegates are strongly encouraged to make accommodation arrangements as soon as possible, as January is a busy tourism season in Peru (summertime and school holidays).

The above rates can only be guaranteed until January 5th. After that day, all bookings will be paid at regular prices. Delegates are to book, guarantee, and arrange payment directly with those hotels.
Shuttle service from the airport to both hotels is available using [email protected]. This service has an additional cost and is not included in the accommodation rate.
VISA REQUIREMENTS

Out of the list of Members and CNCPs, only the delegates with passports from China, Cuba, and Liberia need to apply for a visa. Delegates from China will be exempt from visa application if they have a valid visa for the USA, Canada, the UK, Australia, or a State part of the Schengen Area, valid for at least 6 months since the date of travel.
The Government of Peru has made an effort coordinating its Consulates and Embassies to ensure that visa requests from delegates to the SPRFMO meetings are processed in no more than 7 days.
SOCIAL FUNCTIONS
Peru has advised that a welcoming cocktail and a farewell dinner will be held. Details are as follows:

MEALS
Peru has advised that buffet-type lunch will be provided at no cost for all meeting participants during the eight days of meetings.
ELECTRICITY AND POWER
Electricity in Peru is 220 volts and 60 Hz. Three different types of wall sockets/plugs are used in Peru: type A, type B and type C. There will be facilities at the meeting venue for computer use and access to the Internet.
