Vanuatu enjoys a warm, coastal climate. October is late in the dry season, hence temperatures are expected to range from 18 to 26 degrees Celsius. This means that light weight casual clothing plus a sweater is usually sufficient. The Vanuatu currency is the Vatu and credit cards are widely accepted. Visitors do not need vaccinations, anti-malarial medication is recommended if you are travelling outside of Port Vila and Efate.
