VENUE

The third workshop of the Scientific Committee (Deep Water) will be held from 23 to 25 May 2017, in Hobart, Australia, specifically at the headquarters of CCAMLR -181 Macquarie St Hobart, Tasmania.


REGISTRATION

Participants should register for the meeting in advance using the Registration Form.


LANGUAGE

All meetings will be conducted in English.


ACCOMMODATION

Delegates should make their own arrangements for accommodation. Staying in town or in the Salamanca area is strongly advised. Mantra and Travel Lodge are accommodation options withing the immediate vicinity of the meeting venue.

ELECTRICITY AND POWER

The voltage in Australia is 230V 50Hz. The plug type used is L, and its socket also connects C-type plugs. There will be facilities at the meeting venue for computer use and access to the Internet.


OTHER RELEVANT INFORMATION

Weather: Hobart is rather cold -the temperature ranges between 7 and 14 degrees in May.
Meals: Morning and afternoon tea, as well as lunch will be provided for participants.
Transport: Delegates should make their own arrangements for transport from airport to hotel and back, and within the city. Taxis accept credit card.
